Welcome to the sailboat Pelican, a 32 foot sloop, where the beauty of Charleston meets the art and adventure of sailing!
Pelican is a true sailor, a saltwater survivor, a journey boat. Built in 1980 in Largo, Florida, this 32’ foot Charlie Morgan sloop is a registered antique. With hardy fiberglass construction, and proper care from her crew, she looks to sail another forty years, or more. If you are looking for a laid-back harbor cruise, or are serious about buying your own boat and sailing off, Pelican is an ideal boat to heel over and imagine the journey.
Pelican has travelled the Caribbean, through the Panama Canal, and all the way to the Sea of Cortez in Baja, California. In 2015, Pelican was resting in Tampa Bay, and after another round of sailing adventures in the Caribbean, she’s made Charleston her homeport.
Pelican lives off-the gird with a solar panel, a wind generator, and a battery bank – meaning she never has to plug-in, or even come to the dock, unless you want.
